  • Each hardwood door is made to order. Each door we produce is meticulously handcrafted to individual specifications. We can match to patterns, colours and working to architect plans.

  • Appointment only, we don’t have a showroom.
  • We can paint each door in bespoke colours or wood stains (unlike with uPVC doors).

  • We have an extensive selection of both traditional and modern hardware options for your new door. We can also match to existing or resource specific designs for each project.

Types of hardwood we use

Sapele

Sapele is a sturdy hardwood native to West Africa, boasting a rich reddish-brown hue. It is harder than genuine mahogany while maintaining a comparable colour and natural sheen. Not only does it provide durability, but it also exhibits durability against various weather conditions.

Oak

Oak has served as a staple building material for centuries, evident in the many historical structures throughout the UK that use interior oak beams. Well known for its superior quality, oak stands is one of the most robust materials for woodworking. Its versatility makes it perfect for crafting artistic pieces and complex architectural projects.

Iroko

Iroko timber is derived from the Iroko tree found along the western coast of Africa. This wood boasts exceptional strength, density, and durability, naturally fending off insects and decay. With a golden hue ranging from light yellows to honey browns, Iroko offers both robustness and aesthetic appeal.
